We have so many fun events coming in March! There's truly something for everyone!


Special Toddler Time Special Visitor

Local Children’s Author and Playwright, Obediya Jones-Darrell

Wednesday, March 6 at 10:30 am

Local Children’s Author and Playwright, Obediya Jones-Darrell will read from his book, A Snack for Ani. Ani is a little Anansi spider who is featured in many Caribbean and African tales. In this story, Ani learns about the world through his new adventures. Mr. Jones-Durrell will provide a story-related craft for the children to make.

Book Reading and Signing with Fran Schmidt

Saturday, March 9 at 3 pm

Eclectic Book Club

This month’s book is Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. New members are welcome.


Vermeer and Delft with Professor Nancy Knechtel

March 28th at 6:30 p.m. at the Brighton Place Library or on Zoom

Join Nancy Knechtel for a look at some of 17th-century artist Jan Vermeer’s paintings and a look at his life, his town, and his interest in maps. Peter van der Kraaij from Delft in the Netherlands will join us on Zoom. Peter is a retired cartographer and a tour guide in his hometown.
